Of course I know it's Tuesday, but this outfit was a steal and I keeping a blog of your clothing is a great way to reference what you want versus what you need when shopping for essentials.  Remember, trends come and go but style is personal and it should reflect you and not what's "in" or "out."  This little number was found at dd's and it cost $9.99!  What is dd's?  I don't know the history of the store, but imagine you take TJ/TJ Maxx and Marshall's, merge them into one and then take their overstock and that is what dd's resembles. It felt like a thrift store, in that you have to look around and some of the items look like they were on the floor and put back on a hanger and marked down.  That's not a bad thing if you are good at removing stains and the price is reflective.  However, don't buy something you have to tweak too much unless you simply cannot live without it.  Because it's been so cold I paired it with a black blazer (summer dress to winter style) and also had a pea coat from Old Navy with a scarf and a smart pair of shoes also at discount (details to come) and it works to make a proper outfit for work.
Notice the face :(  I truly don't like Mondays, especially when we have a short work week.  Hope this will inspire others to realize YOU wear the clothes, the clothes don't wear you, whatever your shape, budget, or brand, you ultimately put it together to make the total look.  Work it!!!

I know the YouTube market has been inundated with products with promises to do everything but
take you to work every morning. Alas, I open my inbox and there it is.  For a mere $16.95 plus shipping and handling you get an ounce of this High Definition foundation.  I think it's a great deal if it works.  However, if it's something wholesale, simply repackaged then I can't say I'd stop using my current foundation.  My quest for the holy grail of foundations.
In my opinion, this stuff is not quite up to par for my idea of high definition due to the ingredients.  There are a lot of "cones" and it has titanium dioxide, which means it will have a grey cast in flash photography.  So, if you are interested, please go to Coastal Scents and read more.  I believe they will answer questions and offer a forum for those interested in learning more.  Good luck, and report back if you happen to make a purchase.  Something tells me I will be seeing reviews and videos about this soon.

I truly don't like this time of year.  Total pity party.  My bloke's in Iraq, mum is terminal, dad is devastated and I'm just pretending to get by day by day.
I always wanted to be the girls on the left.  You know, the group of friends you share things with, your ups and downs in life and support each other regardless of what's up in life?  I wanted that well before Sex and the City.  Having a family who traveled so much and no sisters sort of made for Billy No Mates growing up.  Well, I'm going to dedicate this post for those who have friends out there.  Spend time together and support each other as the holidays bring out the good, the bad, the joys and sorrows in life.  We all know Black Friday is a week away.  So, have a plan.  If you don't have one, start getting it sorted.  Here is a list of sales in most major stores such as Target, Walmart, etc.  I found that in search of another camera.  Wear something comfortable.  There's nothing worse than running about with jeans too snug, or feet that hurt.  Bring the right equipment.  If you have to have your: mobile, food, water, camera, etc., be prepared so you don't get on your friends' wick.  This will prevent any heartburn or row from happening.  Decide what to do if you get lost or a time and place to meet up if you plan to go separate ways.  Communicate your plans before you even think about getting in the car.  This brings me to...opt for public transportation or designate someone who will pick you up, meet to get the bags (excess weight) and will drop you off at the next location in order to save your sanity in the car parks.  There will be no parking unless you are camping out the night before.  Also, make sure you close all the zippers, clasps, or anything with an opening on your purse, messenger bag or what have you.  Don't scream, "Steal from me!" and ruin your holiday because someone stole your belongings.  Finally, be safe and have fun!
