I truly don't like this time of year.  Total pity party.  My bloke's in Iraq, mum is terminal, dad is devastated and I'm just pretending to get by day by day. 
I always wanted to be the girls on the left.  You know, the group of friends you share things with, your ups and downs in life and support each other regardless of what's up in life?  I wanted that well before Sex and the City.  Having a family who traveled so much and no sisters sort of made for Billy No Mates growing up.  Well, I'm going to dedicate this post for those who have friends out there.  Spend time together and support each other as the holidays bring out the good, the bad, the joys and sorrows in life.  We all know Black Friday is a week away.  So, have a plan.  If you don't have one, start getting it sorted.  Here is a list of sales in most major stores such as Target, Walmart, etc.  I found that in search of another camera.  Wear something comfortable.  There's nothing worse than running about with jeans too snug, or feet that hurt.  Bring the right equipment.  If you have to have your: mobile, food, water, camera, etc., be prepared so you don't get on your friends' wick.  This will prevent any heartburn or row from happening.  Decide what to do if you get lost or a time and place to meet up if you plan to go separate ways.  Communicate your plans before you even think about getting in the car.  This brings me to...opt for public transportation or designate someone who will pick you up, meet to get the bags (excess weight) and will drop you off at the next location in order to save your sanity in the car parks.  There will be no parking unless you are camping out the night before.  Also, make sure you close all the zippers, clasps, or anything with an opening on your purse, messenger bag or what have you.  Don't scream, "Steal from me!" and ruin your holiday because someone stole your belongings.  Finally, be safe and have fun!

I hate not having my laptop.  I hope they are able to salvage it.  I have had serious withdrawals, and writing about beauty and learning about how I can enhance myself in a manner where I feel confident has become a great outlet.  I fear if it's not resolved, I will definitely by another one and may end up with two.  Oh well...
I guess I have become addicted afterall...

E.L.F. is Doing it Again!
I have the Studio line of brushes, and though I haven't done a thorough review, I can say they are good to have if you need something and don't want to shell out ridiculous amounts of money for high end brushes.  If you are doing makeup for yourself and don't require a brush that will survive ridiculous amounts of washing and heavy usage, give e.l.f a go, they are quite nice.

I hope you are getting ready for the holiday (if you are in the USA) weekend.  Lilash has been reviewed by so many people on line who have had some really great results.  It is quite pricey so others search for deals on eBay.  Well, right now you can get a really sweet deal right here and you may want to stock up if you are a consistent user.  I have been receiving electronic mails from Lilash and the lowest price has been $119 USD, so my theory is maybe they are clearing these out in order to introduce a new version now that Latisse is giving them a bit of competition, they may be upping their game a bit.  Or, it may just be a wicked sale.

Hello Kittens,

By now you have all heard about the NYX 10th Anniversary Sale. In honor of their success, you can get 50% off all products at the NYX Website.
Now I'll give you some product suggestions. I think if you want a great mascara, the Doll Eye Mascara gets great reviews. In terms of eyeshadows, NYX is said, and I agree, to be comparable to MAC. I love the payoff of the most of the singles, the Ultimate Pearls, the Loose Pearls and I'm not very fond of the trios at all. As with most eyeshadows, they can be hit or miss, but if you are just starting to build your collection and you want quality eyeshadows at an affordable price, you can't go wrong.
My wishlist? Definitely the Doll Eye Mascara, the concealer pots (great for contouring eyebrows), I have not heard anything good about their foundations, but for the price, it's a great time to "experiment" and add more diversity to your already large collection.

Hello Cherubs,

I apologize for missing Monday. My mother is quite ill and my weekends are dedicated to caretaking and yesterday was pants!
So, we have a sale at Urban Decay. I also believe there is free shipping after $50.00, which is brilliant because most of the shipping costs for me lately haven't been worth the purchase. Seriously, between tax and/or shipping it better be a really good product. It's all good though because it really makes me thing about my spending and curbs my enthusiasm about all of the makeup collecting dust. I really want to host a contest, but I haven't got but a handful of subbies. Maybe each of you will just get something :)

If you missed it, I believe the Book of Shadows is back, in addition, they really do have some nice matte eyeshadows and you can always pair them with the frosts/shimmers out there. Have you told yourself you are wonderful, amazingly talented and beautiful today? Remember cherubs, the world is rather self obsorbed, we tend to forget to treat people with kindness, compassion and/or sincerity. Please don't forget to tell yourself what a wonderful being you are, if you wait for affirmation from others, or rely on others' approval you won't feel good about yourself as people are fleeting and what's in is out in a blink of an eye.

So, my news for you is that you can go to coastal scents and received 20% off the highly coveted palette a vast majority of guru's on Youtube praise. Sure, it's available on eBay, but why not use the discount and save on shipping?

We made it Cherubs!
We had an historic election, several sales to choose from and to think a week ago we were painting faces, and dressing up for Halloween. What a difference a week makes. While trying to refrain from all things beauty, it's still an amazing time for the USA. Regardless of who won, they would have been the oldest male to win, or the first African-American. I find both to have done well and should be proud regardless of the results.
So, for a recap there are still two deals and steals to consider as well as

so don't forget to stock up. I plan to organize my house this weekend, catch up on my list of things to do and spend some quiet time reading. I have a coupon for Borders for 30% off and I love books as much as I love makeup. I think my imagination is triggered by reading, thus giving me ideas for my many looks.
