Gone Solange....
Yes! Bey's baby sis is sending a message and it's all about her independence. Weeks ago tabloids, blogs and boards were all abuzz about well, Solo's buzz. She did the big chop (BC) and though some didn't think she would last against the pressures of the entertainment industry's love of long locks and Solo would resort to a lace front wig or other alternative to "fit in."
I applaud her for standing her ground as she did on her Twitter account and declared her love of her new look and to heck with what anyone else thinks.
To be honest, I quite like it. I don't think it suits her to have a big mane with such a beautiful, angel face. It really isn't fair to compare her to her big sister, they are sisters not Siamese twins and Solange has her own style, career and goals she wants to reach. Too often we are quick to compare family members (the Kardashians, the Spears, the Lohans, the Hiltons) when we are all individual and other then genetics we don't have to walk in another's shadow just because we share a name.

The women were in town promoting the new line of bags from Samantha Thavasa when an earthquake of 6.6 magnitude shook. The ladies were not injured, but talk about being shook up, no pun intended, that's got to make you want to bounce, real quick. I really wish the media would not have focused so much on Bey. Solange was with her for the launch and I really think she looks lovely with this short do, and bold pink lippie. What say you? Are you feeling this new look?
